Don's Guide Service, Glen Elder, and Waconda Lake are located in the north central region of Kansas, near the shores of Waconda Lake.

Situated along U.S. Highway 24, we are 12 miles west of Beloit, Kansas and 8 miles east of Cawker City, Kansas. 

We are about 70 miles northwest of Salina, Kansas, as the crow flies.              

Besides being close to Waconda Lake and Glen Elder State Park, we are surrounded by farm and pasture land for as far as one can see.

The nearest airport is located in Beloit, which includes a paved runway capable of handling multi-engine planes and small jets.  The airport provides all services including shelter.  Wichita and Salina provide commercial airline access for those traveling great distances.

Glen Elder boasts a population of under 500.  The quiet, country-minded attitude of town is a perfect place for hunters and fisherman to escape the congestion and confusion of urban living and the hectic paces of work.
